About the author

This title is written by Rachel Baker, a freelance journalist and mother of Sonny, now aged 5 who developed epilepsy at the age of 2. Sonny has been the inspiration for Rachel's research into the condition and after having identified the need for more literature specifically aimed at child carers she began to write this book. Rachel is a member of the National Society for Epilepsy and continues to write to promote awareness of the condition.
